Most driftwood that you buy at a store or online is a bit messy and will float if you put it in your aquarium.
Also, if you put it directly in, it may stain your water brown.
This is natural, but often not what home aquarists like to see in their aquariums.
As such:
All of our driftwood is cleaned up by hand, using wood carving tools, to create safe edges and spaces for your fish.
We also put our wood through a rigorous process of boiling and drying to help make it safe for your aquarium.
Then we go through a process of submerging and soaking the wood under weight to help it saturate with water.
[For locally sourced woods, we soak our pieces in H2o2 to disinfect the wood and make it safe for your aquatic wildlife.]
While locally sourced wood may be a bit more expensive, these are pieces chosen by hand along beaches and streams by Yuns, with a very trained eye.
